Howard's Nature

Second one in Cedar we did today. I have been to Howard Nature center before. This was on the back side. Not as pretty as going through the actually trails of the center, but this trail was pretty as hell with the changing leafs going on. Quiet as hell to!
Took us a bit to find this one cause the gps doesn't like being covered by nature..lol

Lime Lake

Of course no fishing pole. You know we now have 2 fishing poles and tackle box in the van. I finally had it. Have gone to to many caches at lakes and no way of fishing.
This one took us forever to find. Very out in the open more or less, just very well camouflaged. We just about gave up when I happen to look down and there is was. I know someone mentioned in a log they couldn't find it, but we were in the area and said what the hell and I'm glad we did :)

The Bear Tree

This is one of two of my dads geocaches I did in Baldwin while camping up there
this weekend. Pretty easy find. The fun part of doing ones in Baldwin is that there
is alot of woods and nature to admire.

First Stage.. pretty tricky. Loved it!

This is a picture of a Tree Wasp Trap. The DNR must be doing some test of some sort.
It was very eye catching considering it was out in the woods..

was pretty cool, so he snapped a picture of them.

Turkey Turf

Another one of my dads that we did today. I was hoping to see some Turkeys like the title says, but instead we seen something else that was disturbing..
We we walked up onto the cache I noticed something red over yonder..lol.. So we inspected it and it was the remains of a dead deer. Someone already processed it and then just dumped the remains here. It was about 40ft from my dads cache. Thank god it wasn't old. It had no smell yet..!!!

Pretty easy find. Lot's of goodies to go through with this one also!

Last one of the day. This one was super easy and went right to it.
Of course Bobby thought he seen something down the back and went to look and sunk in muck.. to funny. Can't stay clean while geocaching that's for sure!

Give a Toot

I honestly don't know what the hell is wrong with me and taking the wrong paths or just looking in the wrong area sometimes. It took me 3 times to go back and finally find this one. First time I took Paige with me and we did find the first stage. Which of course was a decoy. But then I finally found the true first stage. But we were all over the place just looking for that. Then we tried like hell to find the second stage.
We went down a trail along a fence and still were a ways away. We gave up and went home.
Then one day I thought ok I'll go try myself. Went along another trail and found a cool well. Had to look down it and take a picture. Of course I was still many feet away from the final. I gave up!
So I emailed the owner and got a hint. Which was huge to me cause I was so far off that if I would have kept it up the way I was going I would have never ever found it!
But today I went out and finally found it. Awesome hide! Tooted the horn!

Very tricky hide. It took me twice to get this one. Had to go ask the owner for a hint.
She asked me not to give the finally away in pictures so I won't. I don't blame her, this one is awesome and there's no trick I could do with a picture that wouldn't give it away... But I took some pictures along the trial and at least at the cache site :)

What a awesome place!! The prayer place was something new that I have never seen before. See this is part of the reason I like geocaching. People take you to places you didn't know existed.

Bre's Brown Log Cache

Bobby, Fawyn, Keshia and I tried this back in March and couldn't find it. So knowing I was heading to Cedar today I thought why not try it again by myself. I found it, but it took a some searching that's for sure. Again I think it was by chance that I found it. You know you just glance a certain way and like magic it appears..lol

This was I think the first cache I was uncomfortable doing. To many people around watching! Then someone came out and said oh it's right here. So I didn't find it, they found it for me..
