Overpass Cache

This is the first of 2 we did in Cedar Springs today. As long as I have been in Cedar I never have gone on this overpass. No reason to up til now :)

It was a two stage cache. First stage was on the bridge. I thought it might be a magnet somewhere on there, but I was wrong. Paige found the first stage!

Devon on the hunt. I actually found it and pointed in the right direction.
She found it!

Trash Cache

This one was super easy and so there for I didn't get but one picture.
What's so funny is the girls forget to read the paper. They were all over in
the bushes and other places. They disappeared on me actually. I knew that
the hint said "Go back and recap".. ok if you have done enough of these you
kind of know what their talking about. I tried a few caps and bingo found it!
I hollered for the girls and they were like NO way. I said see it pays to read
the paper every once in awhile..lol

Double Arches

We kind of figured what this one was buy. It was the first one we did
out of 4 today. It was down pouring!

I found it!! woohooo

The Next Lightpole Cache

Very nifty idea.. They said not to do this one during business hours and
your right, there would be no hiding what your doing here!

I don't know where she comes up with her sense of humor..lol

Paige found it!

Roadrunner's Nemesis

Awesome set up for a cache. I am so into the ones that they use their imagination
to put together. More or less a theme. The thing that held the log book was a TNT looking thing.. well you know that goes with the roadrunner..lol

We went out in the rain to do this. Mind you it hadn't rained up till we got
in the van to head out geocaching.. Go figure.

Could this be it?

Paige found it :)

Devon is awed by how they did this one. She's like is this part of the pole...is this legal..what does this say.. how did they put it on here if it's not part of the pole.. wow!!!

Raleigh-OH NO!

These people kind of do the same theme with their caches. I did one other of theirs so I had a idea. It was funny as hell cause Devon what right ontop of it and didn't know it. She's like it says right here but there's nothing here.. OMG to funny. Of course she didn't know.
And of course I found it...!

Ninja Hideout

This cache was one of those you think you know where its at and turns out its not.
Me and Paige both found it at the same time..

Paige thinking its the spot and gets down and dirty to get it.. Guess what..not there!!

We both pointed at it the same time, so we both took credit
for the find! It was a pretty clever hide..

Going through the treasure!

Pub Crawl #11 Cement Shoe Stout

The geocaching people that made this one are doing pub/brewers themes.
It's pretty cool cause I never knew these places existed.

It said it was down the road from the pub so off we went.

Paige pointing the way..lol (like the trail wasn't enough of a give away)

Found it.. Don't ask what I was doing with it.. Just being a ass I think..lol

Graveyard Grab

This cache is in Cedar Springs. Done by new cachers. They did a awesome
job on the hides. Very uniquely done.
My Grandma is buried in this cemetery. So that was a pleasure to pay respect to
her while here.
Picked up Tracy to go geocaching with us while in Cedar. She was happy to go, but now I know why..lol She always finds them.. :)

The first stage was pretty nifty. Theres only 100's of these steal
posts in the ground. Think they are water sprinkle things..lol

The Second Stage was very cool. Let's just say there is many things you can do with fishing string and a creative mind!

The Final Stage was like walking into part of a castle grounds. Very peaceful.

Tracy found the Cache!

Of course I had to keep this little odd ball creature! Now come on don't make fun
of the fella..lol

Pub Crawl #7 Curmudgeon Old Ale

Did this fast little geo while I was at the recycling plant today.
Super easy find. In fact I hid a bit better cause anyone walking by it
could have seen it.

I think this was the pub they were talking about.

I found it. I did this one by myself today so taking a self picture was a challenge..lol

Can you take your Lumps?

This was a Virtual cache. Meaning there was no treasure to find, just something
you had to see. I am hoping I got this one right. It was a stone road.
This is what they posted on the cache:

No need to get out of the car to find or enjoy this one.

This is the last of its kind in Grand Rapids. In order to log email us with the answers to the following questions. What is it? What is it named? Do not include the answers in your log.

Free Parking is Back

Sweet and simple cache to find. Of course my gps had us on the other
side of the street at first. Then I looked across the street and thought umm
there is some FREE PARKING so we went
over there and bingo there it was!!
