Bump, Set, Spike

I think I really am a glunting for punishment. I swear it never fails that I take the hardest way to find a geo. When I got to it there was a open field about 2 or 3 ft from the cache I could have taken. But no not me. I bushwacked my way to it...

Ya this is the volleyball field right next to the cache.. It would have been so much easier..lol

GPS Check Time-Pure Evil

OH YOU BET YOUR SWEET ASS THIS WAS PURE EVIL!!!
Me and my daughter and her friend tried to find this cache back in June. We were all over that baseball field. In the bushes, fences, playground, trashcans..etc. We even found two head stones
on the west side of the field in the bushes. Creepy! We just could not find it for nothing.

Then I started reading the logs on this cache today and some people said it was pretty easy to find now that the grass was short and dead. I thought ok let's give this another try. I went right to were the gps narrowed down to and it was right in the middle of the baseball field. Mind you there is nothing there but air..lol. But I read a log that said they got on their hands and knees and started looking. So that's what I did, right there in the open field. I often wonder when you find yourself in these positions if anyone is watching you wondering what the hell your doing. "Yes, 911 there is a crazy white lady on her hands and knees in the middle of the field, should I approach with caution?"..lol

I found it and I'm telling you the cache owner is evil.. It was a copper tube about the size of a pen buried in the ground. It was hollow and had a metal thin rod in it with the log book wrapped around it. Ya, ummm ya .... awesome!!!!
So I got this cache off my "did not find list".. after 3 months. Happy, happy, joy joy!!!!

Playing around:

The headstone we found:

The field with the evil cache..lol:

Found it.. I'm looking all sorts of hot and tired:

A Trubute to Hotdog

Nice little place to remember over by Belmont! I felt bad going through the bushes and stuff looking for the cache. Just like going to cemetarys and a cache might be close to a grave.

Invissible Ink

This cache has been on my to-do-list for awhile. The first stage was blank paper with the cords written on it with onion juice. You had to figure out how to get the invisible onion juice to appear. It took awhile. I hint from someone off another board and google were my friends. So I found stage one and took my lighter and heated it under the paper, what should appear but the numbers..woohooo!

Stage one:
I did block the numbers so other fellow cachers would have to do it themselves.

Found the final stage:

Honey! Have you seen my club

Well I thought since I'm out and about having to drop my kid off to school.. woohoooo!! That I would do some caching while its so darn nice out this morning.
I did 4 caches. This was the first one I did.

Brand new cache put out, I happen to be the second one to find it. Never have I been able to be the FTF.. sighs.

This cache was in a park area hidden among a bushy tree. Took me a few to find it. It was a half of a golf club stuck in the ground with a wooden dolly stuck in the middle of it with the log wrapped around it. Pretty cool idea.

Found it..

Notice the bush leaf and the messed up hair trying to retrieve it.. lol

Dean Lake

Very pretty lake this morning. This being my 2nd one of the day. The water was so still and clear. That's the kind of lake you want to go fishing on so you don't drift all over the place. Sometimes I wish I could just puff boat out my ass right along with a fishing pole..LOL
The locals around there where outside with their cups of java enjoying the scene also. Talked to a older gentlemen about the house across the lake. He said it had like 60 windows in it.
I don't know if you'll see if very good, just click on it it will make it bigger, but that's the house he was talking about.

Found it.. then just sat there soaking in the peaceful morning.

Out in Left Field

3rd one this morning. This was a tucked in park. Meaning you wouldn't think with such a high traffic area, plainfield and east beltline that there would be a park here. It was a pretty easy fine. Another cap on top of a post cache. I love those ones. Nobody in their right mind would ever think to look under one of those for any reason what so ever. Ok maybe looking for spiders..lol

Nice shelter for a picnic. There was also a little playground for the kiddies..

On my way to find it..

Found it..

Ice Breakers #2

4th find of the day. I have been to this lake about 22 years ago to swim all the time. Now you have to pay to go swimming here. It's much bigger now. It also has way more people living around and businesses that sprang up over the years. It was not as calm as the other lake I seen this morning, but still great to look at and watch for awhile.

Had to use stealth to retrieve this one. It was located under a lamp pole box thingy..lol But it was right behind a business so had to be sneaky.

Found it, but not a very good picture. The sun was beaming its rays into my eyes.. I thought I was going to melt..lol
