Got Gas?

This was just published and I thought OH maybe I can get a First Time Find.. No such luck. One person beat me to it. Sighs...

This was I think the first cache I was uncomfortable doing. To many people around watching! Then someone came out and said oh it's right here. So I didn't find it, they found it for me..

Found it..

Abracadabra

Tried this one twice. The first time we got stuck on stage one. There was this card that read "Didn't think it would be this easy".. Ya well we thought that was just a decoy. So I went home and asked the owner for a hint. Come to find out you had to either hold the card up in the light or use a flash light to shine through it to get the cords off the card to get to the final stage. How clever is that!!! I love it!

Trail to the first stage:

Quick pose:

Bobby found the first stage/decoy thing..

This mind you was the wrong way to the final stage, but it was a pretty cool
bridge. This creek was completely covered in green ewww!

The right trail to the final!

FOUND IT!

A couple Kritters in the parking area came to visit :)

GR History Series #6-Ramona Park

Awesome little area. Never even knew this existed. Pretty easy find when I was on the right level of parking.

Found it on the lower level..

GEO-Political Cache

It was tempting to go into Yesterdog and grab a bite to eat, but I keep walking.
This part of Wealthy has always intrigued me. Now I'm not sure what this building was that the geo was attached to, but it must be something Political. :)

This picture was painted on the side window!

Found it.

Out on a Limb

Wow these people are just evil..lol
This cache took me a while to find and then I still don't know how the hell I found it.
Pure luck is what it was. I just happen to look up at the right time I guess.

So many hiding places for such a little tiny ammo box! It was worth it though. Another one down and 5 million to go.. :)

I have been to this park before for another geocache that was in here. Me and my oldest daughter loved it. As I'm passing the playground, fond memories came to mind.
I have always had this park saved in my gps just cause of those memories.

I found this sign amusing.

Going in.. this is when a gps hates you!

Found it!

Fall is here

Yes indeed fall is here. The leaves aren't multi colored yet, but soon.
This was another cache along the White Pine Trail. This one located in Comstock Park.
Easy 2 stage. Lots of people out running and riding bikes on the trail today. Had to watch what I was doing carefully!

Start of the trail-

See the first stage?

See the final stage?

ROCKford

Started my day geocaching. I accomplished 5 of them.. woohooo. This one was my first stop of the day in Rockford. Anything to do with the damn and water with Rockford and caching is always a plus. It's just a beautiful place to hang out at.

The start of the trail. Never knew it existed, but now I do and can show
it to the other half as a great place to go fishing!

A brief stop to take some pictures of the river.

Now onto finding the geocache~

FOUND IT..

Boomer Park

Second one of the day! Located in Cedar Springs.

Once again never knew this park existed when I lived in Cedar all my life.. good gravy. Ok maybe when I lived in cedar other things were more important, like boys..lol
This was a quick easy find.

Found it..(not in the bushes like I thought though.. Had to put my thinking "cap" on)

End Zone "Guard"

3rd one of the day. Also located in Cedar Springs.
Now this one was almost a "Did not Find". Damn it took me forever to find this one.
I had the clue but it just wasn't clicking in the old brain for some reason. Then I went back to the van and sat there thinking do I look for another 15 mins or not. I said heck with it and went back. Found right away. Slick, I'm telling ya. I love it.
Look at the guard rails, well there is big bolts in them. Well one of them was fake. It was still in the hole it was suppose to be, but attached to it was the cache. Shaking my head as I'm typing this thinking of how clever it was.

Is that a face of flustration or what.. lol
