Who needs it?

My son use to work here. Talk about getting sick of Wendy's real quick..lol
This was a easy find. Took my kid and her boyfriend Brenton along today.
Bobby was the finder though!

Pine Grove Walk

This was our second one of the day. I hate winter geocaching, but I thought what the heck I need to get rid of a Travel Bug that I had for awhile and why not get a couple in before the new year.
This was at a cemetary that my neice is buried at. So it was nice to visit her for a moment.

The Cache was a 3 Stager and you had to figure out the years of death or birth and add this or that to it to get the cords to each stage.
The first stage I put into the gps wrong.. go figure. I said hang on let me see what
I did wrong.. Fixed it and we were on our way.

The First Stage..

On our way to the wrong part of the Second Stage..

Second Stage Location.. the right one!

This stone was by the second stage and I thought the saying on it was pretty cool, so I had to share..

Save Big Money

Well we all know that theme song!..lol
I figured that was what it was when we were in Lansing today. We happen to be there
and it was freaking cold as hell out and I wanted to at least do one geo while we were out of town. So off we went. OMG it was cold. Of course I was in PJ bottoms so that might be part of the reason.
It was a easy find!

Huckleberry's Hideout

I saved this geocache for Bob to do when he got home. So we finally got out today to attempt it. We came up to the location and WOW... It's this huge tree that you had to climb to get to the cache. Which I knew that you had to, but I didn't know how big this tree was.
Bob did a couple steps and you could tell he was wondering if it was wise to do. Only cause there was snow on the tree. The rungs were a bit slippery. But knowing Bob the way I do, he wasn't going to give up.
So me and Fawyn encouraged him all the way up.

On our way..

He finally got to the cache..

Always striking poses...lol

Highland Park

Tried this one back in July and couldn't find it. Second time is a charm.
My kid walked right past it thinking it was in the log laying there. I was watching her and said, Fawyn you walked right by it. I wonder what the history is on the brick wall that is there. I know this park is not a very good one to just hang out in. My husband had a friend that was killed in this park. The area the cache is in is pretty though and worth the second trip to find it.

They never wait for me!

The July heat getting to them..

Awesome combination of fall and winter mixed..

Found it..

Bob checking out the fungus on the tree wondering if it will hold him as a seat..

I found this hanging out on a tree.. awesome little fungus pile..

Me and Fawyn striking a pose..

Took nano nano TB..

Cross-Eyed

Tried this one last fall and couldn't find it. Then the Ann street construction started and there was no way of getting to it. So now that the construction is done we decided to go attempt it again. Found it.. woohoo
I really didn't care for incline of the hill we had to go down to get the cache though. Only cause the Grand River is sitting there waiting for swimmers..lol

First Stage.

Final Stage..

Picket Fence

Well we had to go to Muskegon today to pick something up so I thought I would of course grab a couple geos that were close to where we were. This cache was out in plain sight, but of course we were thinking something totally different with the whole picket fence and nail thing. Then Bob says well there was a nail on the bottom of this log.. ya that's it!! But I picked up the log also and so we both took the credit in finding this one.

Zap!

This is the second one we did while in Muskegon today.
Pretty easy find in a sense. With other geos we have done like this in this setting we had a few things in mind of what it would be like. So with some searching Bob finally found it. Very tricky...love it!

Sparta Library Park Cache

Awesome little park. Of course Sparta is pretty decorative anyways.
Took us awhile to find this one. It didn't say how many stages it was online, so we were guessing through it all. The gps had us all over the place for the second stage.
But we prevailed and found all 3 stages.

The blue bridge the first stage is on..

It's on there do you see it...lol

Bobby messing around trying to find it under the bridge..

Fawyn looking for stage 2..

Cling Ons helping me on stage 2..
